Bethesda has found ways to entertain Fallout 4 players who are waiting for the game's first DLC to come out in 2016.

VG247 reports that you can explore the ocean floor and lakebeds and discover interesting finds. The discovery was made by a few Redditors who used their Power Armor's oxygen reserves to explore the detailed environment.

Apparently the exploration was worth it. Things found include Power Armor frames, ammo caches, and submarines. The finds seem to hint that much more can be found in this new environment.

Users have also pointed out that Power Armor only allows slow paced action. Mirelurk Cakes or the Aqua Boy/Girl perk lets you walk around much faster though radiation protection might be needed if you don't use the perk.

This little discovery is a worthy distraction for those who can't wait for the DLC. The underwater environment in "Fallout 4," proves that Bethesda wants players to explore and exhaust all possibilities and environments before getting into the first expansion.

VG247 also mentions that besides the first downloadable content slated for 2016.

"Fallout 4" will also have a series of regular free updates to improve the gameplay, admits "Fallout 4" game director Todd Howard.

Howard told GameSpot that though the content of the multiple "Fallout 4" expansion packs is being kept under wraps, he can reveal as much that the expansions will be led by feedback from fans.

Having said that, Howard has actually dropped a useful hint regarding the DLC content. All you have to do is to visit the gaming forums for "Fallout 4" threads, including those on Reddit. It is possible that your own user comments will be taken into account.

According to Howard, "This game is huge, but it's not just this launch. It's going to be well deep into next year. It's like the game is done but it's not done, because until everybody plays it, it's not really done. Because what they bring to it is really important; we're going to see what people like, what they want more of, what they want different, and we're going to do that."

Expect the first DLC to cost at least $40, but you will save up on $10 if you get the $30 Season Pass. The pass  offers a reasonable and attractive deal, which gives users access to any and all future "Fallout 4" content.

"Fallout 4" is currently available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
