The world’s largest ecumenical body, the World Council of Churches, is holding its executive committee meeting in Seoul Korea from August 24 to 27. While much of the council is focused on developing and organizing the WCC's ninth assembly in Brazil, 2006, the executive members also discussed international issues including the conflict in Sudan, Nigeria, North Korea and the “Shift of Global Christianity from the North to the South.”
